About us
The Munkácsy Jazzduo performs american swings, bossa-novas, adaptations of Hungarian and Portuguese folk songs and also their own composition in English, Portuguese and Hungarian, in vocal-guitar line-up.
They play the songs on high standard in a gentle jazz-style interpreted according to their own taste.

András Munkácsy has been playing music for more than 20 years . He played in numerous bands at various places. He regularly acted on the Budapest Operfest and played in many theatres. He had memorable concerts in Petőfi-Hall and Millenáris Jazz Festival. He made use of his knowledge in his gentle and virtuous jazz-guitar interpretation. The make has been playing music together with his daughter Eszter for 4 years, who is 18 old now, and who appeared on the stage as a child at her father’s concerts several times.
(Eszter had the opportunity to take act several times in Student Competitions, where she always got gold qualification, and the jury frankly appreciated her performances. She was 16 years old, when she went on a tour with graduated jazz musicians to Italy.
Their appearance, and the gentle, delicate and individual interpretation brings success everywhere.
Talent, virtuosity and pleasant harmony comes from their individual performance , which reinforces the appreciation of the audience.
